Public exhibition
25 February - 14 March 2010

For the third time, London's Viewfinder Photography Gallery turned its walls over to the public for an exhibition where every image it received was shown.

Open Salon 2010 saw hundreds of diverse photographs exhibited. Anyone could enter a photograph, on any subject, from any genre; either professional photographers or first-timers.

We were also invited by Greenwich Hospital to expand the exhibition into 8 College Approach (between Rhodes Bakery and the Admiral Hardy), where we showcased some of the most exciting photographs brought in as the Open Salon Showcase.

All participants were invited to the opening party, at both venues, on Thursday 25 February.

Curator Louise Forrester said: "The Open Salons are very exciting. This is a great opportunity for local photographers to show their work, and also for the gallery to raise funds to support future exhibitions."
